Don’t even think about it! Always a way out…a way forward!
Mental health and suicide experts talk with Host David Glass in depth about how to circumvent suicide ideation around the holiday season. And, how to prevent suicide. Host Glass, who holds a degree in Psychology, and who worked in the ER treating people with suicide attempts is nothing new to Glass. He nods affirmatively as Andrews and Eskin share their knowledge. Host Glass also offers his insight. He also urges the two to speak frankly about red flags, when to reach out for help, how to prevent suicide among adults and teens, and shares a list of go-to sources to help oneself or those around them when dark thoughts are looming. They stress the importance of getting help early on—before the holiday season commences to avoid any catastrophe.

Tracie Andrews and Cheryl Eskin
Tracie Andrews – Mental Health Clinical Supervisor at Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and Cheryl Eskin – Chief Operating Officer, Teen Line and Licensed Marriage and Family therapist shared their expertise as counselors in suicide prevention. Andrews addressed adults while Eskin spoke about teens. Their combined backgrounds and commentary were most helpful to audience members to whom they provided information on how to spot signs someone might choose taking his/her life, who to call, and where to get help. Their input was invaluable and much appreciated, according to viewers and Host Glass.
