Laura Bryna

Laura Bryna, versatile singer/songwriter/concert tour and recording artist/ humanitarian, who has shared the stage with such music heavyweights as Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, and others, openly and candidly shares batches of backstory with Host Glass about what makes her tick as a singer/songwriter/music artist/humanitarian, and much more. She tells the story about opening for one of her favorites, Emmylou Harris, who by Bryna’s account, is always so gracious in sharing her on stage kudos with the audience about Bryna’s work. Bryna who writes songs from the heart—tells Glass about the motives behind her compositions and her free spirit in writing songs that chronicle her life and philosophies. She collaborates with some of the industry’s most prolific fellow songwriters, Jonny Price, Cameron Bartolini—and others who write for such megastars as Jelly Roll. She shares the reasons for writing such songs as “Jawbreaker,” “Certified,” “Over Being Under You,” and “Time to Say Goodbye,” the latter of which is featured at the end of this interview along with  Certified.”  From childhood memories to commentary about her country/blues/pop range—though Country is her first love—and her work with the Make-a-Wish Foundation, Air National Guard and USO tours, she is as candid as any prior TheHourGLASS guest! She is spunky, sassy and forthright. As her work climbs the charts, we also learn that some of her work has climbed the Billboard Holiday chart, too, including her top 5 hit, “Wishlist,” which racked up 2-million views and is now considered a Yuletide classic. Glass loved spending time with her. You will, too!
